Vinous 88+
Vivid red. High-pitched aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and cherry, with a deeper cocoa powder note in the background. Sappy, focused red fruit flavors pick up a bitter chocolate note with air and show good depth. Nicely structured if a bit strict right now, finishing with good clarity and grip. Give this some air.
Burghound 89
A spicy, pure and ripe nose of red berry fruit has added breadth in the form of cinnamon and clove notes. The nicely rich and well-detailed middle weight flavors possess excellent volume, all wrapped in a delicious finish where the only nit is a mildly edgy finish that may very well age out.
