Information That We Collect From You
When you register on our website or subscribe to our mailing list you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself including your name and contact details. When placing an order you may also be asked to provide credit or debit card information. If we are selling wine on your behalf we will also keep a record of your bank details in order to make payments to you.
Any card information provided will be used to process payment for the relevant order and then deleted or destroyed immediately. For your security, we never hold your card details, either in physical or electronic form, once the payment has been processed.
We may also collect information about products that you have ordered, your usage of our website, and information provided by you in any messages you post to the website and e-mails or letters you send to us.
In addition, in some cases we may check publicly available information (e.g. the edited electoral register or Companies House records) in order to verify your identity and legal age for the sale of alcohol. The results of such checks will be held with your personal data records.
