This famous Beaune based negociant house was established in 1731, and held a great reputation right up to the early 1970s. From the mid '70s the quality seemed to slip, but it has been revived since the company was purchased by the Champagne house Henriot in 1995. The reputation however still lags the reality - for both reds and whites. The whites are very good and have a low rate of premature oxidation in my experience, having been bottled under DIAM since the mid-2000s.
