Early picked, and aged in barrel (but only 25% new in the 1ers and that with light toast) and with no lees stirring, the wines turn out full of energy, pure, mineral and with a power and intensity that transcends their level. Alexandre Moreau has lengthened the élévage process over the last few years, looking for greater length, minerality and complexity, and seems to me to be hitting the ball out of the park.
