Tasting Notes

The pale-colored NV Rose Premiere Cuvee is all about delicacy. Floral and ethereal nuances dominate in a decidedly light-bodied rose that is best enjoyed as an aperitif. The Rose is well done, but it could also offer a little more mid-palate depth. Pretty floral and red-toned berries are laced into the finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2014-2019

"Bruno Paillard’s youngest release of the NV Rose Premiere Cuvee blends 12 different terroirs (or 89 parcels) and Pinot Noir with a bit of Chardonnay and was disgorged in April 2018. Pale but shining in its beautifully bright and golden shimmering onion color, the wine offers a very delicate, beautifully pure, fresh and aromatic bouquet of red berries, floral and chalky aromas. Round and fruity on the palate, this is a light to medium-bodied, fine, pure, very elegant and persistent rose with great finesse and harmony and a stimulatingly fruity, grippy and salty finish. This delicious Champagne was aged on the lees for at least 36 months. It’s the finest rose I have tasted from Bruno Paillard so far. Tasted in October 2018."
Anticipated maturity: 2018-2026

Paillard’s regular non vintage blend disgorged way back in 2001 with a dosage of just 5g/l. A delicious mature wine that provides proof of the virtues of cellaring (superior quality) non vintage champagne.
Anticipated maturity: 2003-2021
