An appealingly layered nose reveals notes of various red berries, especially cherry, along with floral and warm earth nuances. The succulent, round and delicious middle weight flavors that culminate in a moderately firm and youthfully austere finale. This is mostly built on its fruit and is sufficiently supple on the mid-palate that it could actually be approached on the younger side.
The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village shows fine delineation on the nose, traces of dark chocolate and espresso tincturing the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, displaying the backbone you expect from this appellation and with fine salinity and pepperiness towards the finish. Very fine.

Beautiful pure mid purple. No reduction in this wine, lovely perfume to this, fairly ripe, but very far from excessive, I love to keep smelling this. Suave and svelte on the palate, the whole bunches can be sensed in the background, just giving an additional lift. Long and fine.
