Tasting Notes
Vinous 93/100
The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 1er Cru seems to show a little more extract on the nose, slightly more pithy than its peers, though still well-defined with ample freshness. The palate is well balanced with orange pith, mango and pear, countered by a lovely spicy streak. Fine length and well-focused, this should give great pleasure over the coming 15-20 years. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
Anticipated maturity: 2023-2038
