Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 92
Lamy’s 2013 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derriere Chez Edouard is still a decidedly youthful wine, unwinding in the glass with notes of lemon oil, beeswax, crisp yellow orchard fruit, drawn butter and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, deep and incisive, it’s tightly wound and searingly intense, with a racy spine of acidity and a long, chalky finish. This is one of the least evolved and most electric of all Olivier’s 2013s at the moment.
Anticipated maturity: 2020-2035
