EnquiryThe 2012 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Carrieres has a lifted, quite earthy bouquet with broody black fruit, autumn leaves and fresh mint, gaining more confidence with each swirl of the glass. The palate is structured and masculine: good depth and acidity, but sultry and backward at the moment. There is a touch of black truffle coming through on the finish that is assertive and will require three or four years to mellow.
