Tasting Notes
Vinous 90-92
(40% vendange entier): Bright red. A sexy note of reduction to the wild aromas of redcurrant, rust and minerals. Intensely flavored and nicely perfumed in the mouth, with lovely floral lift to the strawberry fruit. A lovely aromatic midweight from whiter soil.

Tasted blind. Pale garnet. Mossy nose with some evolution. Rich and sweet on palate entry with a nice balance of acid and fruit but no great refinement. Edgy acidity. Still some dry tannins on the end.
Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030
Robert Parker 92
Tasted blind at Flint Wines’ 2007/2012 Nuits Saint-Georges tasting in London. The 2012 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Corvées Pagets from Robert Arnoux has a composed and detailed bouquet with blackberry, briary and redcurrant scents, just a touch of bergamot emerging with time. There is appreciable mineralité here. The palate is well balanced with supple ripe tannin, fleshy and bold; not the only Chevillon-inspired wine here, with a velvety, caressing finish. This is an excellent, opulent take on the vineyard. Tasted November 2016.
Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039
