Tasting Notes
JancisRobinson.com 17.0
Pale to mid crimson. Firm autumnal notes on the nose. Rather alluring. Already quite subtle and certainly low key. Quite a contrast to the bumptious all-out fruitiness of Jean Chauvenet just tasted! Sweet but fresh.
Anticipated maturity: 2015-2024
Vinous 87-90
Good bright medium red. Slightly reduced aromas of black cherry and earth. Juicy and firm on the palate, with a faint youthful toughness to the flavors of black cherry, purple berries, violet and licorice. Finishes with a solid spine of acids and tannins.
