Tasting Notes
Vinous 93+
(the grand crus were bottled about five weeks before my visit): Pale, bright green-yellow. Precise, high-pitched aromas of lime, white flowers and crushed stone. Then juicy and supple on the palate, with enticing sweetness to its pure, sharply delineated flavors of lime and orange. Impeccably balanced Bienvenue with nothing fat or warm about it. Really sparkles on the powerful, mounting finish.

Shy nose. Not obviously grand cru quality. A tad more concentration but still very obvious acidity and a dry finish. Quite taut for the moment. Restrained.
Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030
