Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 95
This has a compelling nose that draws you in with every second: dark cherry, Victoria plum, a hint of white pepper and dried orange peel. Great definition but not an opulent bouquet, more secretive. The palate is medium-bodied, firm tannins, good grip, lovely balance and intensity of fruit. Great persistency and focus towards the grippy finish. More like a Romanee-St-Vivant. Bon vin! Tasted January 2011.
