Tasting Notes
Vinous 92
The 2009 Beaune Boucherottes comes across as regal and sophisticated. Firm yet beautifully integrated tannins frame an expressive core of fruit in this striking wine. The warmth of the year has given the wine an extra dimension of fleshiness that is hugely attractive. Floral notes add lift to the light, airy finish.

Robert Parker 90-93
The 2009 Beaune Boucherottes (on the border with Pommard) shows gorgeous vibrancy in its dark wild berries, violets and sweet spices. The aromas and flavors literally explode on the mid-palate. A big, broad-shouldered wine, the Pommard impresses for its powerful, authoritative personality and superb balance. Sweet, balsamic nuances linger on the textured finish.
