Tasting Notes
Vinous 91
Bright medium red. Very pinot noir on the nose: raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, spices and minerals. Then juicy and light on its feet, with a lovely rose petal note and firm acidity and minerality contributing zingy energy to the middle palate. Very good edgy pinot; in contrast to the Kiwa, this gained in verve with air. Both of these bottlings are reportedly from 27-year-old vines.
