Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 91
To be honest I expected a little more from this although it is still an excellent wine. The nose lacks a little nuance and verve. The palate is well-balanced with pure ripe cherry. Not complex, but very good acidity and a lovely cool crisp feel. A lovely poise. A charming wine. Tasted January 2004.

Good bright red. Complex, soil-inflected aromas of raspberry, espresso, minerals, smoke, flowers, mocha and roasted herbs. Silky-sweet in the way of the best examples from this outstanding premier cru, with sappy flavors of red fruits, flowers, spices and minerals. Finishes very long and sweet, with ineffable complexity. A lovely example of the cru.
