Tasting Notes
Vinous 87-90
Good full red. Black cherry, licorice and mint, along with a soupcon of malic acidity. Sweet, broad and layered, already showing enticing inner-mouth aromatics. Finishes with very good persistence.
Robert Parker 87
Tasted at Roberson’s Pinot Noir Class. A very pure nose, ripe strawberry, raspberry, smoke, blood orange and a touch of earth. Medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins, fresh, crisp fruit: nice grip, raspberry, wild strawberry and a touch of iron on the tart finish. Drinking perfectly now. Tasted November 2009.
