Tasting Notes
Vinous 88+
Good deep red. Enticing aromas of raspberry, flowers and spicy oak. Fat, lush and rich; at once plump and shapely. Pure flavors of spicy red fruits. A harmonious village wine with solid tannic structure and good aging potential.
Robert Parker 87-89
The 1999 Chambolle-Musigny is ruby-colored and has a delectable black cherry, candied raspberry, and licorice-scented nose. Medium-bodied, silky-textured, and lush, this is a sweet cherry-packed, broad, and ample wine. Drink it over the next 4 years.
