Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 94
The 1995 Corton-Charlemagne is spectacular. Profound aromas of almond paste, ripe pears, white flowers, and anise are followed by a broad, medium-to-full-bodied, powerful, magnificently concentrated, and extracted core of honeysuckle blossoms, red berries, minerals, and spicy oak. This superb offering should be at its peak between 2002 and 2009. Importer: Seagram Chateau & Estate Wines Company, New York, NY; tel (212) 572-7725.
Anticipated maturity: 2002-2009
